Quick answer

Refunds for trips marked as not travelling depend on your school, so check your school's terms and conditions. Ad hoc journeys can always be moved to a different date, as long as you give notice before the time of travel.

Do I get a refund if I let the driver know I am not travelling?

For parents whose child will not be using a booked school bus journey.

Let the driver know

  1. If your child is not going to use the bus, mark your child as not travelling on the school transport booking portal or the passenger app.

  2. Check your school's terms and conditions for the full refund policy.

Refunds

Refunds for trips marked as not travelling are school-specific. The terms and conditions give a full breakdown of your school's refund policy.

Ad hoc journeys can always be moved to a different date, as long as notice is given before the time of travel. See How to amend the date/stop/route.
